Lighthouse for kids and teens

Navigating school, family life and friendships isn't always easy.

We offer specialized counselling and support for kids and teens with issues such as:

  • Social Skill Building
  • Navigating Friendships

Clients will learn to power though challenges, and build resiliency.

We equip them for the challenges of growing up by helping them develop their own "tool box" of strategies they can apply anytime in life.

Our Approach

Our mental health counselling and therapy draws on fundamental psychotherapy and counselling approaches that will facilitate insight, compassion and understanding into one's own thoughts and experiences. We will work with you to identify a direction to therapy that includes a sensitive approach to addressing your specific emotional, relational, and psychological needs.

Symbolism of the Lighthouse

For centuries, the lighthouse has provided us guidance and safe harbour when travelling by sea. It is a beacon of light and a symbol of hope.

Yet it also reminds us to slow down. It warns us of dangers ahead: rocks, reefs, and shallow waters in our path.

The lighthouse illuminates the way forward. It empowers us to navigate our way through rough waters, and overcome whatever challenges come our way.
